Four galleries: art, photography, food, and music. The same creative instinct in each.

Gallery one
Art
Colour first, explanation later.
I work in layers — paint, paper, ink — and scrape most of them back. Whatever survives is usually the honest part. Faces keep appearing, half built and half torn away, with one deliberate colour that refuses to behave.
Originals and one-of-a-kind pieces surface periodically through KVSTOMOLOGY.

Photography
I’m always looking.
I’m drawn to candid moments, unexpected juxtapositions, and compositions that reveal themselves rather than announce themselves. Sometimes the subject is a person. Sometimes it’s an animal, a sky, a landscape, a shoreline, a building, or something I almost walked past.
I like the photograph that makes you look twice — not because it was staged, but because something about the moment, the light, the scale, the candor, the placement, or the relationship between things was unexpected and glorious.
My camera goes where I go to capture the journey. Can you relate?
People. Places. Animals. Nature. Coincidental compositions (because timing is everything!).
More of my photography can be viewed on my TRAVEL page.

Food
A bona fide foodie. No measuring cups, no borders on the plate.
My mother and my grandmother have had tremendous influence on me — on my character, and on my dexterity in the kitchen. Whatever confidence I have at the stove began at their elbows.
Cooking is the discipline I practice daily. Italian, Pan-Asian, Indian, Mexican, and Mediterranean dishes I love to make and love to eat — and a standing experiment recreating meat-based favorites as vegan replicas.
More than a decade in New Haven, Connecticut made me a pizza snob. I am a confessed chocoholic, all-things-chocolate. The table is where most of my best ideas get argued into shape.

Music
A passion for REAL jazz and for standards from the great American song book— and beyond. As long as it's not trying too hard. The flex is authenticity. Purity.
Singing came before everything else and never left. Standards, ballads, the occasional bossa — a small room, a good bass player, no rush.
What I have on repeat right now lives in a playlist over on YouTube.
Beyond the studio
My travel has its own stories to tell.
Travel changes you.
It changes what you notice, what you eat, what you wear, what you consider beautiful, what you question, and what you believe is possible. It challenges your assumptions. It changes what one considers "normal." It expands your vocabulary for understanding other people— and, often, even yourself.
For me, travel has been an education in humanity. The farther I go— especially off beaten paths and into where the "real people" live their lives— the harder it becomes to believe that there is only one way to live, create, solve a problem, build community, or contribute to the world.
This section is an homage to my travel lust and a nod to one of my passions: It is a glimpse into the places I've been, the things I've seen, the flavors I've brought home, the ideas I've carried forward, and the people I've encountered along the way whose essence remains present. These are the photographs that represent my values, my mindset, my whimsy, my style, and what I pay attention to.
